A Message from the Dean of the JLCC

Our Japanese Language and Culture Course (JLCC at North Asia University) was established in 2007 to provide Japanese language education for those who need the preparation to enter North Asia University, and additionally, to let them deeply understand Japanese culture. JLCC provides Japanese language classes, such as sentence structure, speaking, reading, listening, etc., depending on the student’s proficiency. JLCC also provides classes for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and the classes about understanding Japanese culture and society. At JLCC, students are able to talk not only about their studies, but also about student life with staff and teachers who are there to support students and make their study abroad life and enjoyable one. Students enrolling in JLCC may enjoy college facilities, like the library and cafeteria, the same as regular students. In addition, students in JLCC will receive tuition benefits upon enrolling in the normal college program. Through one year, there are variety of events which faculties and students can enjoy together so that students will be able to have intercultural experience as well as Japanese language acquisition. We would like to invite you to experience our Japanese language program, Japanese culture and Japan itself at our college in the rich environment of Akita.
