(ii) Specialized Lectures
(a) Course for International Tourism, offering cultural studies.

- Cultural History of Akita, Tourism and Folklore, Food and Culture, Tourism
and the Geography of Japan, Tourism and the Geography of East Asia, Tourism
in the Republic of Korea, Tourism in the Peoples Republic of China, Tourism
in the Republic of China(Taiwan)
(b) Course for Tourism Administration, offering studies on Administration
and Industry in tourism
- Lectures offered:
- Tourism and Administration, Law and Landscape Administration, Introduction
to Landscape, Practical Study on Town-Development for Tourism*, Study on Area-Development,
Research methods for Tourism
* offered in collaboration with local governments
(c) Course for Tourism Service, offering studies on Service in three industrial
areas: Accommodations, Travel Agencies and Air Line Companies.
- Lectures offered:
- OJT in Hotels, OJT in Tourism, OJT for Planning Tours, OJT in Airline Companies

(2) Seminar
For Freshmen, Basic Seminars are offered for their importance as introductory
education.
For Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, Advance Seminars are offered each academic
year.
