Our Japanese Language and course (JLCC at North Asia University) was established in 2007 to provide Japanese language education for those who need it preparatory to entering North Asia University. North Asia University has a fifty-three year history and is one of the better-known social science colleges in northern Japan. Students enrolling in JLCC may enjoy college facilities the same as regular students but will receive tuition benefits upon enrolling in the normal college program. JLCC has many Japanese language specialists to help students study and adjust to life at North Asia University. One of the JLCC features is to help students pass the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), which nowadays is a common requirement to enter college in Japan. Students in JLCC may also take such courses as English Language, Japanese culture, and Japanese economics, allowing them to learn about Japan. Many of these classes are taught by experienced college teachers. In addition to this, JLCC holds many activities that help students acquaint themselves with Akita, make friends, and meet teachers. We believe that JLCC provides an excellent place for students to get dreams for the future. We are happy to welcome you to Akita.
